tutorials are brilliant

by Jay A. MoorePosted on July 31, 2008April 20, 2020

No matter what software you need to learn, there is probably a tutorial somewhere on the Internet. My wife sent me a link to a Photoshop tutorial that she thought I would like, and here is the result:

This is a picture that I took of our house on an evening when the clouds had some very unusual coloring. The background color of the clouds added a nice cosmic effect to the “planet” brushes that I downloaded for Photoshop. I have a huge collection of NASA concept art for all sorts of space phenomena, and now I know how to create my own. This first attempt only took about ten minutes to create after I had downloaded the brushes from www.deviantart.com.

Here is the link to the tutorial if you like playing around with Photoshop: http://www.vimeo.com/136633

You can also find tons of tutorials for Microsoft Office software and other commonly used business programs.
