fire in the sky

by Jay A. MoorePosted on June 22, 2008April 20, 2020

The lighting in the clouds this evening was very unusual. I grabbed our cheap digital camera and headed out into the yard to snap off a few shots. Here is a panorama that I pieced together quickly in Photoshop.

Since our camera is on the low end, the white balance is off on some of the shots which leads to the pronounced color variations with the lighter and darker areas of the 360 degree view. When I get a chance I might try editing this scene more carefully, but I thought the images were really unique for Indiana. Check out my ‘photostream’ link at the top of the page for some of the other photos.

I did work on the image some more and there are two really awesome panoramic shots posted on my ‘photostream’ link at the top of the site.
